Tim Arimborgo

Tim Arimborgo, born January 1988, serves as Templar Research Institute’s President and member of the Board of Directors. Tim has a degree in Audio Engineering, specializing in electrical maintenance, repair, and building of analog and electrical studio equipment. He resumed his studies in Astronomy and Foreign languages, until he felt a call to become an educator. Tim then decided to study Intercultural, Childhood Education and Cognitive Psychology at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Apart from his mundane activities and intellectual interest, Tim had always felt drawn to philosophical and religious studies- with Eastern Religions and Philosophy in particular. Tim had become interested and involved in, and introduced to esoteric orders while conducting genealogical research. It was then that he discovered that his great great-grandfather, Angelo Arimborgo, was involved in the formation of the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of the Republic of Peru in 1882. This discovery would ultimately lead him down the esoteric and spiritual path of which he pursues today and- after being initiated into the Masonic Fraternity- would also help him find his place in the esoteric world within many circles, as well as to his role as an historian.

Tim was initiated into the Ordre Souverain du Temple Initiatique (OSTI) during a gathering in Kansas City, Missouri. He is also an initiate of a number of other orders around the world.
